Tonight, Senators Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton engaged in the debate the Democratic voters have been waiting for: engaging, intense, substantive and congenial. Both candidates focused on the various issues many voters have been clamoring about: Health Care, Economic Justice, Iraq, Immigration and more. They avoided the personal slights, even when they were drawing comparisons; it was diplomatic and respectful. They both received numerous applause and ovations from the star studded audience in La La Land.
In the spirit of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, I dedicate to you Paul McCartney's & Stevie Wonder's magnum opus "Ebony & Ivory".
